Well, more than a few.

Life changes, things happen, priorities change. I won’t bore you with any of that. Instead, I’ll focus on the present and look a bit into the future. No promises, though, I know how that has worked out for George R. R. Martin.

I’m currently re-reading Chasing Portals to refresh my memory of everything that happened and making a few edits along the way. Nothing major with the edits that change the plot or characters, just some clean up. After that, I will do the same thing with what I have written so far on book 2, Hunting Blood.

I’ve written 19 chapters of Hunting Blood, which I estimate to be about 2/3 of the way to completion. I have a clear idea of what is left to write and how the book will conclude. My goal is to have it finished and edited by late summer of 2026 and then published along with the revised version of Chasing Portals soon after.

I’ll make a concerted effort to post some periodic updates and other things of interest. Hopefully I can stay on track this time!
