Jason Parker is a professional dabbler. Chasing Portals is his first novel. His creative ambitions began with a fascination of comic books before he could read and dreaming up adventures for his favorite heroes before he could write. He believes Roger Zelazny’s Chronicles of Amber may be the coolest thing ever written.

Jason was born in Nevada, but spent most of his youth in Northern Virginia (Washington, DC area). He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia (Go Hoos!) and a graduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (Go Rams!). Jason currently lives in Richmond, VA.

Jason has worked in the IT industry for more years than he can remember. In his spare time he enjoys playing poker, watching sports, playing cornhole, drinking pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
